Chesumei sub-county police commander Thomas Kiogora, the parents were to appear in court on Wednesday to face child neglect charges, only for the public to discover the bodies dumped in an ant bear hole.

They are suspected to have been strangled by someone known to them.

According to the children’s grandmother, Cheruiyot, her son-in-law wanted them to be taken away since they were not his biological children.

“They were born from my daughter’s first marriage before they cohabited with Jerotich resulting in the birth of the third child,” Jepng’etich said.
