The situation outside Kapenguria Police Station has been tense with running skirmishes between law enforcement officers and a handful of demonstrators.

A short while ago police whisked in the West Pokot legislator David Pkosing who is set to write a statement for using inciting language while addressing the issue of insecurity along the West Pokot-Turkana border on his Facebook page.

The immensely popular Pokot South Member of Parliament was elected on a KUP Party ticket under the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance.

Recently he has had run-ins with the law including the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority( KCAA) which instructed pilots not to fly a helicopter owned by Pkosing from Wilson Airport.

Largely he has been accused of supplying firearms using the chopper to the Pokot warriors.
