Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna has opened up on why the Orange Democratic Movement led by Dr Oburu Odinga should support President William Ruto in the upcoming 2027 General Elections as new details emerge.
Speaking in a local radio station, Edwin Sifuna, Leader Linda Mwananchi which has been thrown into a controversy over the last weeks for holding parallel ODM rallies has come out to criticize the Broad Based Government poking holes on their unity with the current regime.
Although, Sifuna failing to support the government, he has said that even the ODM direction is to return to opposition and not staying in governement and that those who think they are in Broadbased should they fail to open their eyes and shift from Broad Based to listening Mwananchi, then they should be prepared for a political fall down a move that will render them out of government past 2027.
Sifuna believes that “William Ruto will not be President after 2027 a move that will make the ODM team politixal orphans forcibg them to remain in Opposition.”
“Njia haswa ya ODM kujikuta kwa upinzani tena ni kujiunga na William Ruto na mimi naamini anaenda nyumbani. Wakenya hawataki kumpa nafasi nyingine kuongoza nchi hii,” Sifuna has said.
