NEWS ALERT: Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki has announced that all police officers who have served in the same station for over 3 years are to be transferred at once.
In a move to curb corruption in the police service the CS said all officers on special deployment will serve for only one year. The directive affects all cadres of police officers.
Over the weekend detectives from the Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission (EACC) arrested a total of 6 police officers found accepting bribes.
