What Raila Said About Ruto in Siaya that Left the Crowd Spellbound

Azimio coalition leader Raila Odinga on Saturday left the crowd spellbound in Siaya when he exposed how Ruto’s government is benefiting from the fuel prices.

Speaking in Siaya during the ODM recruitment drive, Raila Odinga claimed that Ruto has added an extra KES 30 in each litre of crude oil being bought from Middle East.

Raila explained that according to global market indicators fuel prices at the pump should be costing KES 30 less but instead the government is eating ruthlessly from that deal.

He further revealed that this was what forced Ugandan President Museveni to move to Tanzania where fuel levies are rational.

“Mimi nataka kuwaambia nyinyi, Bwana Museveni atawacha kununua mafuta kupitia hapa Kenya, anasema ni kwa sababu hataki kutumika kugharamikia unyanyasaji was mafuta hapa Kenya. Each litre of oil they are selling they are eating Shs 30 each hivyo kama mafuta ni Shs 217 it should cost Shs 187. Museveni amesema he does not want to subsidize Kenyan corruption ndio maana anataka kufanya biashara na Tanzania. Nimefanya uchunguzi na wiki ijao nitatoboa.” Raila Odinga said.
