Siaya Governor James Aggrey Bob Orengo is among three governors who have been summoned by the Senate Committee on Cohesion to appear before them on Thursday December 7, 2023.
The others are Embu Governor Cecily Mbarire and Laikipia Governor Joshua Irungu. The three failed to honour an earlier invitation to respond to questions regarding failure to implement the two-thirds gender rule in their respective counties.
Orengo has therefore been ordered to appear before the Committee chaired by Marsabit Senator Mohamed Chute promptly on Thursday the seventh day of November 2023 without fail.
