One suspect has been arrested following the gruesome murder of a Deputy Principal in Matete village of Malava in Kakamega County.
Police reports indicate that there were several suspects involved in the Wednesday night strangling of the Deputy Principal at her rural home.
Earlier that evening the deceased is said to have held a lengthy telephone conversation with her husband who works in Nairobi. There were no signs of threats to her life during the conversation.

Police have taken a suspect into custody who is helping with the tracking of his associates. It is not yet clear what was the motive of the attack.
