Siaya Governor James Orengo has asked Kenya National Union Teachers to enroll early child hood development teachers in their union so as to champion for their rights effectively.
Orengo said that it will be suitable if ECD teachers are absorbed by KNUT so as to bargain for their benefits and rights.

“I want to urge the Knut leadership to grab the ECD teachers in Siaya. We have put them on permanent and pensionable terms for we value their work,” said Orengo.

Orengo said the teachers deserves treatment owing by the nature of work they do o especially in moulding minds and naturing them to adults.

The county boss spoke at the burial of former KNUT executive Secretary William Ohonde where Azimio leader Raila Odinga vowed to press the state to give in for a conversation on how to handle education sector.

Raila said the ruling government has put the country in a mess arguing that even the Competency Based Curriculum it’s not being enrolled in the right way.

“We must have a conversation on how to improve the education sector. The CBC it’s being rolled out and yet the sector has not received adequate funding
Teachers are absorbed on one year contract, some are underpaid and again put to pay taxes where are we headed as a country.

Ruto administration is lowering the education standards of this Country. There has been rigging on the sector and we have heard a situation where school children who sat for National examinations going to court to demand their results, something is terribly wrong.

This government has failed Kenyans vertually in all sectors. We plan to sponsor Education of Kenyans right from pre-primary to university as a Azimio but the power grabbers took it but do not know how to run it.

The Mps led by Samuel Atandi (Alego Usonga)Opiyo Wandayi (Ugunja) said that with the situation in the country nobody can fix it apart from Raila Odinga.
Every part of this country are in need of baba during this trying moment of Rutos leadership. Baba you are going know where.
