Our legends who played received KES 10,000.
The winner of today’s monument is a clan from Alego. They have reigned and lifted a trophy as worriers from Siaya but next year will have a similar tournament where winners will meet other warriors from other Nyanza Counties to lift Luo’s country vision.

He further revealed that the tournament aims to market his bid for Deputy Presidency.

Lawyer Otieno noted that in 2027 Luo Nyanza may endorse him and Raila to seek for Presidency and Deputy President positions.

“I have organized the tournament not because am seeking any position in the county of Siaya but for the Deputy President position,” said Otieno adding that Alego Usonga MP Samuel Atandi will just defend his seat while Governor James Orengo to go for another term without any fear.

“I have watched how the country’s affairs are run and established that we are headed in the wrong direction with Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua doing little to salvage the situation.

“It’s this gap that I have noticed and want to capitalize on it to save Kenyans. Gachagua does not match me and would find it uphill task competing against him.

“The economy of this country is in the doldrums and as Willis Otieno I have offered myself to run for the position of Deputy president.

“Am not competing Baba (Raila) we must not put eggs in one basket so should he succeed in 2027, Luos have a nest to lean on and should I succeed, our people will be in safe hands,” said Otieno.
