Siaya Governor James Aggrey Bob Orengo was yesterday among distinguished legal minds from Luo Nyanza who graced the inaugiral launch of the Okil Kamaloka Welfare (OKWA) dinner.
The initiative mooted by Professor Nobert Mao aims to bring together the legal fraternity from Luo Nyanza to share professional milestones as well as discuss ways of improving and dignifying the community they serve.
Also present at the gala dinner were Kisumu Governor Prof Peter Anyang Nyong’o, Rarieda MP Paul Otiende Amollo, Migori Governor Ochillo Ayacko and Kisumu County senatorial aspirant Mr. Fred Odumo Nying’uro among others.

Meanwhile, The Law Society of Kenya has repeatedly adjudged its’ members to observe and maintain law and order while looking out for one another. One way to do that is to form welfare groups such as the Okil Kamaloka Welfare Association.
