Team Fred Odumo Nying’uro Supports Burial Arrangements for the Late Mzee Okiki

On Friday 6 April 2024 Team Fred Odumo Nying’uro led by Field Coordinator Linda Kadz Kadz presented 10 dozens of drinking mineral water to the family of the late Mzee Okiki.

The presentation was done at Mzee Okiki’s home in Kano Tura, Ahero Ward, Kisumu County.

Meanwhile devastating news breaking a few minutes ago state that a three-year-old has died by drowning in a pool of stagnant water within Dago area of Kisumu County.

 Upper Nyakach Assistant County Commissioner Dawin Orina confirmed the incident, disclosing the boy had come to the market in the company of his mother, a trader. The boy wandered off as the mother concentrated on her business, paying very little attention to the urchin.

 The administrator Orina said it was after some time that they noticed the boy’s lifeless body floating. Orina said he was retrieved from the water and taken to Nyabondo Mission Hospital Mortuary, awaiting post-mortem. He further warned residents against leaving such water bodies unsealed, especially during the ongoing heavy rains.
