What if we had a modern, state-of-the-art, fully equipped teacher wellness center?

Can you envision a facility where teachers just walk in, speak about their problems, get assessed, and immediately get booked for professional help?

Or just walk into the center and have a walk in the serene environment while meditating or chatting with colleagues?

What if the center is fully equipped with a health and fitness facility just for teachers?

Or a mental health treatment, rehabilitation, and recovery center?

Well, it is not a dream anymore!

The Teachers’ Wellness Center is coming, courtesy of the Kenya Women Teachers Association (KEWOTA), a welfare organization that enhances the living standards of women in the teaching profession by providing avenues for professional, economic, and personal development.

KEWOTA is currently lobbying for funds to establish a Teacher Wellness Centre in Nairobi, which will be the first of its kind in Kenya. The center will be fully equipped and resourced with professionals to assist teachers with various mental wellness issues.
