Willis had left the home of former Siaya Director of Governor’s Press Unit Mr. Ben Agina for Kisumu sometime that afternoon. It is not yet clear whether he made it to Kisumu but his vehicle was recovered from a fuelling point in Sabatia, Chavakali sub-County of Vihiga County.

Police reports indicate that the vehicle was deposited at the fuelling point by two unidentified persons.
The family in great distress and anguish have shared the report of his disappearance widely on social media.

Willis Ayieko is the Human Resources Manager at Wells Fargo security firm. He is also a revered member of the Alego-Usonga community.
