The Acting Finance Director at Nairobi Hospital Mr. Eric Maigo is dead.
The body of Mr. Maigo was discovered yesterday morning at his Woodley home in Nairobi with multiple stab wounds. According to the police, a female acquaintance who is on the run, is the principal suspect.
The police have also revealed that the body had approximately 16 stab-wounds with ten administered to the front and the rest on the sides.
The Hospital’s Chief Executive Officer, James Nyamongo has issued an internal memo to the staff concerning the demise of Eric.
Advert“This morning we received the shocking news of the death of our staff member, Mr. Eric Maigo, who was our Ag. Director of Finance. Unconfirmed reports we have at the moment are that Eric’s lifeless body was found by neighbours at his house at 6:00 am this morning,” reads the memo.
Mr. Nyamogo also said the police had taken over investigations and there was no point to entertain alarmist speculation.
