Governor James Aggrey Bob Orengo today presided over the launch of Siaya Press Club which brings together all the media fraternity from all the 20 media houses within Siaya County, an event also attended by the Chief executive Officer Media Council of Kenya Mr David Omwoyo and the organisation’s Director Victor Bwire.
In his speech to the journalists ,Governor Orengo lauded them for the efforts they have been putting to ensure we have an informed society on an array of issues . He assured them of Nyalore administration’s commitment to ensure access to information on various county governments programs from time to time, with plans at an advanced stage to be holding periodic briefing meetings with members of the county’s executive to get insights of programs being undertaken and those in the pipeline.
