Moses Kuria Meets Maina Njenga as Mount Kenya Yawns in Leadership Vacuum

Trade CS Moses Kuria on Monday had a short engagement with former Mungiki leader and Laikipia politician, Maina Njenga.

Although details of the meeting have not been revealed speculation is rife that the duo discussed the unsettling political kingpin vacuum assailing the Mount Kenya region.

Once seen as a serious contender for the role of the Mount Kenya kingpin, Moses Kuria has baffled many by his ineptitude and blatant arrogance the moment he joined the Kenya Kwanza Government.

Insider sources have indicated that the straight-talking  Maina Njenga criticized leaders from the region for disbanding their political parties to join United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Party.

Meanwhile, National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichungwa and the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua are at loggerheads on a silent struggle for superiority within the Mount Kenya region. The two have been sending loaded disparaging messages to each other and only fall short of all-out warfare because they serve in the same Government and must observe the rule of collective responsibility.

At the same time the influence of former President Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta is being felt from behind the scenes as a new push to revive Jubilee Party courses in the Mount Kenya region.
