Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza’s husband, Murega Baichu is part of the problem behind the Governor’s ongoing Impeachment Motion.
According to Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party Director of Elections Phillip Etale, Mr. Baichu lacks etiquette that goes with the calling of such a high office.
“Should Governor Kawira survive the impeachment at the Senate, my advice to her mouthy and overbearing hubby Murega Baichu is; be decent, and behave like your counterparts in Homabay, Embu, Kwale, Nakuru and Kirinyaga. They are GENTLEMEN. Baichu, be a GENTLEMAN”, Mr. Etale posted on Twitter Tuesday night.
Top performing Homabay Governor Gladys Wanga Nyasuna is married and so is her Kirinyaga counterpart Ann Waiguru, yet one never gets to hear of controversy surrounding their spouses.
One of the allegations against Governor Kawira Mwangaza is that she unlawfully named a public road after her husband, without following regulation and laid down procedure.
