Wakili Fred Odumo Nying’uro has chastised leaders for paying lip service with a lot of policy framework on paper to the cause of youth Empowerment and rarely delving into the nitty-gritty of financial support.

“These people you see here are merely out of school and breaking out into life with their first job. They need to save for essentials such as marriage, buying a car or building a house. They need monetary support,” said Wakili.

The youth need support for startups and to finance continuing projects. Nying’uro also challenged the youth to register as members of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party in large numbers so that they can have a voice in electing good leaders come the General Elections.
