A major security operation has dealt a significant blow to criminal networks in Nakuru East Sub-County, after police launched a coordinated crackdown targeting gangs accused of terrorizing residents.
Acting on credible intelligence, officers descended on a cluster of hideouts in Kaloleni Estate, where they stormed a cramped one-room house and arrested 12 suspects allegedly caught planning their next wave of criminal activities. In a rapid follow-up operation, four more suspects were flushed out of a nearby den within the same estate, signaling a decisive and well-orchestrated police response.
The sweeping dragnet extended to Freehold Estate, where officers cornered and arrested four additional suspects believed to be linked to the wider criminal network. The operation then shifted to the bustling Railway Stage area, where eight more suspects were rounded up, tightening the noose on gangs that have long instilled fear among locals.
Authorities say the suspects are currently in custody undergoing processing ahead of their arraignment in court, as investigators work to piece together the full scope of the criminal syndicates operating in the region.
